Privacy Policy
This page describes what personal information Custom Logic collects when you use this website, how it is used, and the choices available to you. Custom Logic operates as an Australian business and aims to handle personal information consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988.
§01 — What we collect
When you send a message through the contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the service you are interested in, and the contents of your message. We do not collect personal information about you from third parties.
§02 — How we use your information
We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry, to scope and quote work, and to follow up about the project you contacted us about. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
§03 — How your information is stored
Form submissions are sent to a business inbox hosted with Google. To prevent abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy-respecting bot check) and Upstash Redis to rate-limit submissions per IP address. None of these providers receive the contents of your message beyond what is technically required to deliver it.
§04 — Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We will only disclose information if required by Australian law or to protect our legal rights.
§05 — How long we keep it
We retain enquiry emails for as long as the project relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support invoicing, ongoing support, and statutory record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
§06 — Your rights
You can ask to see what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
§07 — Cookies and analytics
This site does not set its own tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie strictly for bot detection; it is not used to track you across sites.
§08 — Security
Form data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in inboxes protected by the underlying provider's security controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we use reputable infrastructure and keep credentials out of source code.
§09 — Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the Last Updated date at the top. Substantive changes will be reflected before they take effect.
