How to use this tool

1. Choose a website URL or plain text, then enter the content to encode. URL mode requires a complete http:// or https:// address.

2. Choose a PNG size and generate your QR code. Check the exact encoded content beneath the preview.

3. Download PNG for screens or SVG for scalable print. Preserve the clear border and test a scan at the intended final size.

How this QR generator works

The code is generated in your browser with medium (M) error correction, black modules on white and a four-module quiet zone. The destination or text is encoded directly, without a Custom Logic redirect.

Example

Enter https://www.customlogic.com.au/tools to create a code that opens the tools directory. Plain-text mode preserves spaces and line breaks exactly.

Questions and assumptions

Does the code expire?

A static code has no subscription or built-in expiry. A website it points to still needs to remain available. Changing the destination requires generating a new code.

Limits and scanning

Up to 1,000 UTF-8 bytes are accepted; non-ASCII characters can use multiple bytes. Shorter content produces a less dense code. Anyone who scans the code can read its contents. Do not crop the border, and verify printed copies with your intended scanners.
