UTM Campaign URL Builder
Create a consistent campaign link for a newsletter, ad or external referral. The destination is never visited by this tool.

How to use this tool
1. Enter the full destination URL and a consistent source, medium and campaign name. Add optional tags only when useful.
2. Select Build link to create the encoded URL. Copy link puts only the finished URL on your clipboard, ready to paste into your campaign.
3. Use Print / save PDF to keep the inputs and link as a campaign record. Editing a field requires recalculation before copying or printing.
How the calculation works
The builder parses a complete HTTP or HTTPS URL and sets source, medium and campaign. Optional ID, term and content are included when filled. Existing copies of these six UTM parameters are replaced; a blank optional field removes that parameter. Other parameters and the fragment are retained. Values are URL-encoded without changing their letter case.
Worked example
For https://example.com/shop?category=print#offers, source newsletter, medium email, campaign spring_launch and content hero_link: the result keeps category=print and #offers while adding the four campaign parameters. A name such as spring sale is encoded safely; a space can appear as + in the query string.
Questions and assumptions
What this estimate includes
Use campaign tags for external acquisition links, not ordinary internal navigation. Analytics processing depends on the destination implementation and user consent. Existing parameters such as utm_source_platform are retained because this form does not manage them. The builder is not intended for signed URLs whose signatures depend on exact query encoding; URL normalisation can invalidate such signatures.
Can I save or share my result?
Copy link copies the URL alone. Print / save PDF produces a local campaign record with your inputs, result and source link. The tool does not visit the destination, save a campaign or store your form history. Refreshing clears the form.
