How to use this tool
1. Enter an inclusive minimum and maximum, and choose how many numbers to generate. Bounds can range from −1,000,000,000 to 1,000,000,000.
2. Choose whether numbers may repeat within a draw. Optionally sort the output; sorting changes display order, not the selected numbers.
3. Press Generate numbers. Copy or print the result, or generate another independent draw using the same settings.
How the random choice works
Both endpoints are eligible. Repeated draws use uniform integer sampling with rejection of out-of-range random words. Unique draws use a partial Fisher–Yates shuffle represented sparsely, so large ranges do not require allocating every possible number.
Worked example
A range from 1 to 6 has six eligible values. Asking for six unique numbers returns every value exactly once in a random order; sorting then displays 1 through 6. Asking for seven unique values is rejected.
Questions and assumptions
Scope and assumptions
Only whole numbers are supported. A no-repeat setting applies within one draw, not across separate clicks. The tool does not create passwords, lottery predictions or a reproducible seeded sequence.
Can a result be predicted or proved?
The browser supplies cryptographic random values, with no fallback to Math.random. If that source is unavailable, the tool reports an error. Repeated outcomes can happen naturally. A locally editable page and its printout are not independent proof of a draw; no signed server record is created.
